Do I need to empty the pantry before install day?
Yes, but we give you about ten days of notice. Empty the pantry, move what you can into a temporary bin, and our crew handles the rest. Most pantry installs take 1 to 3 days depending on size.
Can you work around existing countertops or a sink?
Yes. If you want countertop on a pantry shelf, we can install quartz, butcher block, or laminate. If there's a sink or plumbing, we design around it. We don't do plumbing work ourselves, but we coordinate with your plumber if anything needs to move.
What finishes work best for a pantry?
Our pantries are built from thermally fused melamine on an engineered core. It wipes clean, doesn't absorb odors, and handles humidity better than wood. If you want a door or drawer front for a different look, those come in the same finish lineup as the rest of the system.
How do you handle corners and awkward spaces?
We build fixed corner shelving units into the run so the corner stays usable. They're not pull-outs, they're angled shelves that sit inside the corner. For tighter spaces, we can run the shelves at a 45-degree angle off the wall instead. Your designer will walk through the options during the consultation.
Are the shelves adjustable once installed?
Every shelf adjusts on a pin system in 1-inch increments. So when you swap a 12-pack of paper towels for a stand mixer, you re-seat the shelf and keep going. The only fixed pieces are the structural verticals and any corner shelving units.
