Laundry Room Systems

A laundry room that
folds itself.

Cabinets above the washer, a folding counter, pull-out hampers, and a drying rod that swings away when you're done. Designed so laundry doesn't feel like a second job.

What fits in a laundry

Small room, six jobs.

The laundry does double and triple duty: wash, fold, dry, iron, mudroom, and sometimes pantry overflow. We design the room to handle all of it without feeling crowded.

Cabinets over the washer

Detergent, stain sticks, and spare bulbs, out of sight and within reach. We lift them high enough that a top-load lid can still open.

Folding counter

A folding surface spans the washer and dryer. Most clients source the slab separately (quartz, butcher block, or laminate) and we design the cabinet run to fit it.

Slide-out hampers

Two or three slide-out hamper bins for lights, darks, and delicates. Built into the base cabinets.

Drying rod

Retractable or swing-away rod for line-dry pieces. Out of the way when not in use.

Ironing station

Fold-out ironing board hidden in a slim vertical cabinet. Iron stays plugged in inside.

Drop zone

Bench, hooks, and a shelf near the door if the laundry doubles as a mudroom. We design them together.

Common questions

Before you ask.

Your designer will walk through specifics during the consultation. Don’t see your question? Ask us directly.

Can you work around existing plumbing and venting?
Yes. We design around supply lines, drains, and the dryer vent. If anything needs to move, we flag it during the virtual consultation so you can get a plumber involved before install day.
Do you install the countertop, or do we source it separately?
Separately, for most laundry rooms. We build and install the cabinetry; your countertop fabricator templates and installs the slab on top. That keeps the counter warranty with the fabricator and lets you pick from their full slab lineup.
Can the cabinets accommodate both top-load and front-load washers?
Yes. We measure from the actual machine spec sheet, not the nominal size. Top-load needs lid clearance, front-load needs door swing. Both get shown on the 3D rendering before build.
What happens if we upgrade appliances later?
If the new machines are within an inch or two of the old ones, the cabinetry still fits. If the new set is dramatically different, we can adjust the run. We keep your design on file to make that easy.
Can you build around a utility sink?
Yes. Utility sinks stay where they are, or get relocated by your plumber. We build cabinetry that wraps the sink run and gives you counter space and storage above.
